Lost Lands Dungeons - Palace of Paroxysmus

The entrance to the Palace of Paroxysmus can be found in the jungle northwest of the village of Papua, close to the Terathan Keep. To enter the dungeon you must have an Acid Proof rope in your backpack. The rope can be bought for 5000 gold from the NPC near the entrance. It can also be crafted by skilled carpenters who have access to the elven city of Heartwood and have found the proper recipe. To craft such a rope you need 2 Greater Strength Potions, 1 Protection and 2 Switches.

The Palace of Paroxysmus is a large system of caves that runs beneath the Lost Lands. This dungeon is filled with all kinds of poisonous creatures, like Acid Elementals, Poison Elementals, Corrosive Slimes, Plague Beasts and their spawns and so on. In the western part of the dungeon, a lost city can be found. It is inhabited by Balrons and Succubi. So you rather be careful before visiting the lost villager down there. Even Demons and Interred Grizzles can be found in Paroxysmus. Green rivers of corrosive acid flow through this dungeon, leading into a large lake of acid with an island in the middle. On this island dwells the most dangerous creature of this dungeon: The Chief Paroxysmus. To access this island, you first have to gether a skull, a torso, legs and a spleen of the Putrefier. The latter can be acquired from a green Balron in the southwestern corner of the dungeon. The ingredients have to be thrown into a cauldron located right before the Chief's island.
