Lady Sonata

Hawkeye was glad to meet her again in the tavern. After what happened during the rescue of Captain Hook he felt miserable. He had frequented the tavern quite often these days, just to meet his "meermaid" again. Then finally he saw her walking up the stairs to the room with the cosy fireplace. He followed her as fast as he could, opened the door and saw her standing near the open fire. She was most beautiful. Pike was at a loss for words. Finally he tried to explain why she accidentally got harmed during the battle at the trial. Sonata listened sadly.

Hawkeye did not know whether she understood him. The circumstances of what had happened were complicated, and he was not a man of many words. This lady influenced him in a most strange way. It was one thing to rob a rich mage, yet another to make such a beautiful lady suffer. The way Sonate reacted, without hate and disgust but with concern and understanding, changed the pirate's attitude. He now knew: That lady would have to become his!

The hours he spent with Sonata passed way to fast. When he finally had to leave, Hawkeye decided he would become a pirate with honor. He would only harm the rich ones and the mages, and he would help those who were poor.
