The Jolly Roger Landlubber Bash-Up

his very unusual public fight-night took place inside (!) the Jolly Roger Inn, the headquarter of the United Pirates! The Jolly Roger Inn consists of three rooms: The big main room of the inn and two back rooms. The bash-up was held in the main room. For security reasons spectators had to watch the whole scene from the two back rooms.

The rules of the combat were very simple: The fights took place in the main room. Leaving the main room during the fight was not allowed. Every weapon type or spell was allowed, except deadly poisoned weapons. No magic armor or weapons were used. Of course, no looting was allowed. The winners of the duels fought against each other, until there was only one left. The best fighter received a reward of 10000 gold pieces!

After the duels were over, there was a Chaos Bash-Up, where everyone fought at the same time, until only one was left. The winner of this tournament also received the prize of 10000 gold pieces!

Well, there were more visitors than expected, and the Bash-Up could be called a total success! The Jolly Roger Inn was crowded like a flee circus, and the pirates had some trouble driving the spectators like cattle to the back room. Alas, the Shadowclan orcs left again, as it was a little bit too crowded inside the Inn.
During the contest there was not a single problem with cheating, looting or breaking of the rules. Both, attendants and visitors, enjoyed fair and exciting fights.

All different kinds of fights were shown here:

Two mages sitting on bar stools like enjoying their hen party, murmuring strange words from time to time, to let off a lightning or roast the opponent for barbecue.

Two paladins chasing each other wordlessly in a never ending fight through the room, being most busy with casting healing spells or boozing one of their numerous greater heal potions. We all thought that one of them should soon be out of reagents or arrows.

Two naked rivals, who had an agreement to fight without armor, hacking each other until both were half dead.

Unequal opponents, with one of them casting three spells and the other one collapsing moaning without ever having the chance to place a single blow.

A healer from Yew and various guests made sure that nobody had a grayed vision of the tournament for too long a time.

The fighter Aragon won the duels, and was honored standing between the remains of previous fighters.

After this event, the second event was started: The Chaos Bash-Up. Many fighters and pirates volunteered, and gathered with drawn weapons in the main room. With the signal the chaos began! Clashing weapons, flying arrows and thundering spells echoed from the walls of the Jolly Roger Inn.

The pirates lasted pretty long here, and in the end the pirate Judge fell by the weapon of Shinij.

After the winners had received their prizes, everybody was tired. Hawkeye Pike thanked all visitors for the fair and excellent fights, and then the pirates started to clean up the mess in their inn.

After all, all had a good time and a lot of fun! I wonder what their next event, the Lost Lands Treasure Hunt, will be like!
