Searching a Hidden Treasure
he United Pirates gathered in their assembly hall
"Ambush & Mutiny", to workout a strategy for their first treasure hunt.
Thanks to the help of John Barleycorn the map could be deciphered, and it pointed at the
island of the Shrine of Valor. Here's a report from the Corsair Hawkeye Pike:
Da cre gather'd at da Jolly Roger Inn, prepar'd to make deir first treasru' hunt. Da landlubb'r John Braleycorn was an excellent cartograph, and he also had a minin' skill. We equipp'd wid weapons and armor, to strike back any attack of guardin' monst'rs. | ![]() |

On our way to da Valor Isle a darn sea
serpent got between our blades, and it soon pay'd for it's curiosity! *laughs* Da meat of dis beast would make a fine barbecue. |
Aft'r some searchin' on da Valor Isle,
John finally hit somethin' hard while diggin'! I shouted, and me mateys gather'd, to
welcome da farggin' critters we excpect'd. We had found dis tatter'd treasure map on an
orc mage, who was slain by Hook, some landlubb'rs and me in da Virtue Villag'. But no monst'r show'd up, as we lifted da heavy iron chest. Now we had to open it, widout settin off da trap. John murmur'd somethin' of a detectin' hidden skill, and den I dared a glance into da chest. |

It was full of gems, 1000 gold piec's, and some magic shields and weapons. We didn't know whut to do wid da darn reagents and scrolls, though. I notic'd da greedy eyes of da pirat's, and one of dem took out a magick buckler. Suddenly a headless and a ratman appear'd, but dey didn't hav' much time to breathe, I guess. We loot'd da treasur', and took it back to da Red Skull Bay, to put it in a secure place.
