The Deep Sea Fishing Contest

About seven participants appeared at Britannia's first Deep Sea Fishing Contest, organized by the United Pirates of Catskills. The rules were simple: Go out and catch as much as you can within one hour. After this time, the catch of the fishermen should be counted to evaluate the winner.

One of the fishermen was surprised by an unexpected monster respawn, during his run for more fish. Fortunately nobody was harmed seriously, and the masters of fish returned only with some minor sea serpents blisters to the Jolly Roger Inn.

It was quite some work, to display and number the catch, as the fishermen and -women caught lots of stuff! They all were pretty excited, for everybody took himself for the best fisherman in Britannia.
After distributing the points on the catch (1 point for normal fish, boots, shoes, etc., 2 points for magic small fish, 5 points for treasure maps and 10 points for messages in the bottle), the scores were compared. The man with the highest score was KerPlunk, a grandmaster in his profession. He received a valuable prize, a treasure chest from a sunken ship, filled with gold, diamonds, candelabras, dartboards and some magic stuff. Very nice indeed!
