Building a Log Cabin
he world had finally been split up into Trammel and Felucca. Monsters were carrying moonstones, which could be used to travel between the two facets. Also, the lands of Trammel had been opened for house building, and new house designs were available. McBykar wanted to build a bigger house, so he was trying to find the architect who sold the cheapest house deeds. Meanwhile, the guards seemed to be busy watching the Britain bank, because some stupid mage had cast the Earthquake spell in town.
He finally found a deed in the carpenter's shop in Minoc, who sold the large marble house deed for almost 200,000 gold pieces. With this
deed in his backpack, McBykar travelled to several spots in Trammel to find a place to build.

Finally, by the swamps north of Trinsic, he found a spot which he liked very much. Due to the vicinity to Trinsic and Britain, this place seemed perfect. Unfortunately masses of lizardmen thought different, decided to mess with McBykar and followed him hissing and swinging their maces. A cunningly placed poison field made the lizardmen turn real green, and soon they stumbled around vomiting on the ground. Disgusting! A few meteor storms and chain lightnings later, McBykar and his friend Gallahan had to dig their way through lizardman corpses, looting gold and moonstones out of their bodies. Many of them had died from a poisonous disease, and the rest had been burned and blistered by the powerful spells of the two mages.

As the area was cleaned, McBykar found the perfect spot for his new marble house. He checked it thoroughly with a land surveying tool. He was prepared for the day when the Gods would allow the placement of houses. Well, a lot of time had passed and still more and more problems seemed to arise with the housing in Trammel. We would see how all of this would turn out...

Meanwhile, Hawkeye Pike had a save spot for a log cabin anyway, by replacing his two small houses at the peninsula in Felucca, east of Vesper. As McBykar wasn't so lucky with his house in Trammel, he'd live in Hawkeye's Cabin. At land's end, he had a great view out to the ocean. It would be a big home with lots of room to store his equipment in.
