Another Fighting Tournament

nce again, the United Pirates organized a fighting tournament. This time they had built a real fighting arena on top of their Black Market hall. Six contestants applied for the tournament, paying a starting fee of 10,000 gold pieces each. Hawkeye Pike explained the rules (which were rather simple: everything was allowed, but pets) and gave the starting signal for the first duel. It would be interesting to see, which fighting tactics and which equipment would prove to be most successful.

Fierce battles were fought on the rooftop of the Black Market. Some of the duels actually lasted so long that the fight had to be interrupted by the referee. In those cases where fighters were so balanced that nobody seemed to be able to beat the other, both were declared winners.

Legolas, who was a very skilled archer during the whole tournament, had to give in in the last round, being continuosly disarmed. The winner finally defeated Norrar Swordhand in the finale with several disarm attacks and walked away with 60,000 gold coins of prize money
