Fare thee well, Mucknog!
ucknog had removed all valuable items from the chests in his house. He entrusted his belongings to his brother in arms Hawkeye Pike, who had helped him build the "Ol' Shack" several months ago. A feeling of sadness overwhelmed Hawkeye as he stood there, seeing his friend for the last time.
"Well", said Mucknog "this is it. Other important things have come up. I have to leave the realm of Britannia now."
Hawkeye nodded. "Matey, it's been an honor fightin' alongside wid ye! May da winds always favor yer course!"
Mucknog shook Hawkeye's hand.
"I will keep yer things safe until yer return!" Hawkeye added.
"Won't happen, Hawkeye." replied Mucknog. "Not likely."
The pirate captain swallowed. "Fare thee well, Mucknog!"
"So long, brother!"
Hawkeye trudged to the door and left without turning around. He walked to the nearby city of Britain and found his favorite tavern, The Salty Dog. He'd now drown his sadness in a couple of ales...
This was the last time the Ol' Shack was seen in the forest south of Britain. It had been a useful hideout to the pirate Mucknog, so close to the Britain Moongate. And it also had played a role in a tricky scavenger hunt, where this place was referred to as "Ol' Shack on Sylvan Ground, south of the gate of the Crescent Waxing Moon, close to the City of Compassion." The small house was finally torn down. Some litter still lay on the ground for passers-by to pick up. A few days later, this place would look just like any clearance in the forest. The trees and the grass would soon forget about the people dwelling here. But Hawkeye would not.
