ord Casca stood by the entrance of the Empath Abbey in Yew, surrounded by a large crowd. He began to speak:

"Hail, Britannians! Gather round! First I wanted to thank you all for your protection of Clainin a few days ago. Without you all, he surely would have perished. I bring you here today for a much more important purpose. After weeks of study, research, grueling work; I believe I have pinpointed the location of the rift where the Crimson Dragons are making their way into our land. I feel that if we can destroy whatever it is that is allowing them to enter our land we will be rid of them for good. Who among you would assist me in such a matter?"

"Good, then we should not have a problem. I will lead you all into battle!" Casca shouted, and a moongate was opened...

The brave warriors found themselves in a dark underground vault. Sharkeye Pike cast the Night Sight spell so he could see. Then he sped forward.

They followed a winding corridor, when suddenly they faced the horrors of this place. Sounds of battle and powerful spells echoed from the dungeon walls, while evil creatures crept down from the north, attacking the intruders immediately. Sharkeye saw Blood Elementals, Silver Serpents, Scorpions, Lich Lords, Rotten Corpses and Shadow Fiends.

Thanks to Gift of Life, Sharkeye Pike was able to rejoin battle, as soon as the Shadow Fiend that killed him moved along. The corridor led to a square room which was heavily guarded by monsters of all kind. Brave Britannians fought with spell, blade, shield and pet. They finally defeated the enemy and the room was safe to enter.

In the middle of the room stood a large blood sigil. Obviously, this was the place that had summoned the evil forces which had been invading the cities of Britannia during the past weeks and months. Suddenly, Lord Casca appeared. And nobody had seen him fighting. His excuse was: "I didn't want to break my staff, it was a gift!" He then explained that the blood sigil was to be destroyed, in order to get rid of the Crimson Dragons and end the invasions. He studied the crystal, concentrated and... destroyed it! Shards of the crystal lay shattered on the ground, and people were picking them up hastily. Casca summoned another gate which brought the survivors back to Yew, where he held another speech.

"With the crystal's destruction we should be free from the invasions which would have torn our land apart at its seems," Casca explained. "If there are any left from the invasions, they will wither and die, I suppose! I held steadfast, I have preserved amongst unwarranted criticism, I have brought peace to the land where others faltered. 'The Archmage will know what is best for Britannia,' Kasaven told me. Fools! Both of them! Without Clainin's help our foes fall, they grovel at my feet. The unfathomable might of the Crimson Dragon bows before the crown!"

Suddenly, out of nowhere, a Crimson Dragon named Syrak appeared. The crowd was shocked and surprised. Then the dragon's roaring voice could be heard loudly and clearly:

"The Crimson Flight bow to the likes of you? Puny little mortals! Who amongst you possess the power to banish us!? You would be lucky to serve us as slaves lest we decide you're better as food. Foolish mortals! Look on in awe! I am perfection! I am a Crimson Dragon! Who amongst you can rival my strength?"

Casca called for the guards, and as they did not appear, he fled. Then Fayaxion appeared, and he summoned a Platinum Dragon. The silverish-blue scales of the dragon skin were shimmering in the pale sunlight. The Crimson Dragon attacked Syrak and destroyed him. "You are safe now, humans." he growled, then vanished.
