Treasure Hunting
he group of three had selected a level 4 treasure map, as they all weren't too skilled fighters. Raven Gustare had just recently started to learn archery, Path was a decent spellcaster, and Sambal Dragor had practically no fighting skill, as his job was to find hidden treasure and pick the most difficult locks. After decyphering the map, they discovered a treasure on Skull Island and successfully defeated the guarding monsters without casualties. Sambal examined the the lock and quickly opened it with his picks.
By casting a magic spell he disarmed the trap and started to loot its contents. He picked out a large number of magic items, which he collected for unraveling. He also gathered the gems for his imbuing work, while the other two were busy fending off the monsters that appeared from time to time.
In the second treasure chest, Sambal Dragor discovered a Repeating Crossbow that caught his attention. It carried two most interesting magic attributes: Repond Slayer and 20% Swing Speed Increase. "This would make a good bow for imbuing," he thought. After slaying the evil creatures, they returned to the Jolly Roger Inn where Sambal immediately started picking up his imbuing ingredients to alter the crossbow he just found. This would make a perfect monster slaying weapon for Raven!
The result was convincing. With only 15,000 gold pieces worth of common gems and a handful of Magical Residue and Enchanted Essence (Residue and Essence he had acquired by unraveling the trasure chest loot), he was able to improve the weapon immensely. And Raven was happy to finally have a decent monster hunting weapon.
