Something is Brewing on Catskills

I am here to share power with those who seek it!" the strange lady said.
Sharkeye turned away from the cashier of the First Bank of Britain where he just had counted his treasure and took a closer look at the long-haired woman with the seductive eyes. In her hand she carried a long blood-red blade. Before Sharkeye Pike could evaluate her more thoroughly, she said: "There is an uprising in Britannia, have you not heard?"
The pirate had not heard. Another bystander called Gallion was clueless, too. Without really expecting an answer, the dread lady Ix Tab continued: "I am more than meets the eye. I am seeking...assistance. There is a witch who calls herself queen. She is falsehood."
Sharkeye Pike looked confused. Wasn't Queen Dawn the one who liberated this land from the betrayer Casca?

Sharkeye responded to the request, as he was convinced that a pirate would not assist anyone without a promising reward. "What is in for the pirate?" he asked.
"Power. What more does a pirate seek? What more does any mortal seek? I am ripe with it." Upon that reply, the pirate noticed that Ix Tab twirled a few gem-fragments between her fingers, but hid them quickly as she noticed Sharkeye's glimpse.
"Many answer my call," she continued. "Yet they can't achieve the ends I need. A great upbringing requires great assistance. I am a liberator, Sharkeye Pike. I am a queen. Yet you are decieved by the one who rules you."
"Dawn?" Pike asked.
"She treats the people as pawns. Her advisors are fools at best. They do not share power."
"She seems ta be more reliable dan da fool named Casca," the pirate replied frowning.
"Casca was a fool, a weak fool. A follower, not a leader. I am a leader." Ix Tab looked excited, but her eyes seemed to glance at something in the distance. Before anyone could respond, she hastily continued. "There is also another matter. I need more to join my cause. But to share power, I need more of it. There is a crystal... Do you know the village of Aegis? There rests a power there, the power of many tormented souls. They rest in a small red crystal, crafted by an old necromancer. My blood is not pure enough to take the crystal from its habitat. It combats any interference to its being, its solitude. I know its place, but I need some skilled in the arts of thievery."

With this, the Dread Lady Ix Tab vanished in a burst of flames. Sharkeye pondered. More power - that sounded quite alluring. He would investigate that red crystal...
