Ettin Steak and Troll Barbecue

here's no big story about this, just one advice for every traveller:
Beware of the Ettins!!! We had ran into this gigantic two-headed monster on the plains south of Trinsic; our favorite hunting ground. Although we were two fighters, we hardly had a chance killing this creature. I had to run away and hide several times, before we finally could give him the final blow. The Ettin's gold pieces were split amongst us, yielding a share of roundabout 50 gold coins for each of us. We were happy about this loot and continued our journey.

During the previous fights against monsters, I managed to increase my swordfighting skill to Expert level. It was a great feeling! Finally I had enough strength to wear bone armor and a bone helm. Now I could dare to engage the Orcish Mages I always had fled from! My skill of magic resistance still was very low, but I planned to train it in order to resist the monsters with spellcasting abilities. I went out on adventures with KugelBlitz, searching for monster loot on the plains of Trinsic. In that area usually a number of monster could be found, waiting to b slain. That's when I saw my first Troll.

Trolls are not too dangerous, and they carry around a lot of useful stuff. Most of the Trolls I was slaying with the help of my companion KugelBlitz, so we would bring it down before it could jeopardize our lives. After looting the corpse, I usually carved off the meat, lit a campfire and barbecued some steaks. After a while in the wilderness, it was time to head back to the safe city gates of Trinsic and store our loot in the bank.
