Spellcasting Enemies

his time, it was a Giant Spider and a grizzly bear attacking me at the same time. No problem, I managed to separate them during the fight, killed the spider first, then the grizzly. That's what I call hunting!

For the next hours I should run into several monsters with spellcasting abilities. I must admit that I didn't defeat any of them, but at least I tried and gained some experience. However, despite being exposed to many spells, my Resisting Spells skill even dropped a little. I have no idea why.

I didn't have a chance to kill this Air Elemental in the first place. I had no idea where it came from, it just was approaching me and casting spells at me. Soon I noticed that I was close to dying, so I ran away. As I was fleeing, I passed by a knight in shining plate armor with the name of Arlon Farandril. As he saw the Air Elemental he shouted "Avoid it!", took his heels and ran like hell. This incident proved that even the finest armor cannot cure a faint heart. After the poison spell from the elemental had worn off, I came out of hiding. The Elemental had vanished meanwhile. Maybe it had found another victim.

On my way home, I ran into an Ettin and an Orcish Mage. After feeling myself resisting magical energy, I quickly realized that I had no chance surviving this threesome. Being once again hit by a poison spell, I fled through the woods until the poison wore off. I decided that it was time to go home.
