The Evil Mage of Trinsic

oday I visited the Hidden Valley in the Trinsic Volcano again to buy some reagents. Here they were much cheaper than in the mage shops downtown. When I had passed the tunnel and arrived at the mage's house, suddenly someone in a red tunic attacked me. The evil agressor carried no weapon, so I decided to strike back. Suddenly a lightning struck me and took 20 percent of my life energy! Now I took a closer look. His name was Carthon the Mage. Were the ancient tales really true? Was it true that the Hidden Valley was inhabited by an evil mage, who would appear from time to time?

Carthon continued to cast spells at me, so I ran away and hid, chugging some healing potions. That was close! When I had recovered, I returned and attacked Carthon. After a few blows with my axe, he fell to the ground. Carthon was defeated! I bought enough reagents for a good price and left this place as quickly as possible.
