The Swamp of Lizards

oday I was leaving Trinsic with no real destination. I wanted to travel along the west coast, so I went south to visit the Shrine of Honor. I soon reached the southern humid area, and the sound of tropical birs and jungle creatures could be heard. On my trip through the dense jungle I was attacked by a spectre and a headless. My fighting skill had improved so much that I was able to slay these monsters without a problem.

Near the southern coast of the mainland I found some ruins with a strange stone circle in the middle, in which a pentagram had been carved. Maybe this place once had been the house of a mage, but now the symbol didn't seem to have any function at all. I couldn't find anything unusual, so I continued heading northwest.

After a short walk I found the Shrine of Honor. I kneeled down and rested for a while in this quiet and secluded place, sending a prayer to the Gods of Britannia, begging for protection and support on my journey into the unknown. Maybe I will discover more secrets in this strange world...

I was following the coastline until I reached a big mountain range. I saw a dark cave entry that was known as the Dungeon Destard. I didn't dare to enter though, but proceeded to the peninsula west of the dungeon. It was a swampy area and my feet sunk deep into the mud. Suddenly I heard a hissing noise behind my back. I quickly turned around, just in time to repulse the attack of a Lizardman. After I had defeated and looted him, two other Lizards approached. I tried to separate them, which wasn't easy. By the skin of my teeth I conquered the vile creatures who seemed to call the swamp their home, and took the shortest way home with the loot in my backpack.
