The Secret Caves of Buccaneer's Den
y friends Lizarda and KugelBlitz
were meeting me at the Royal Bank in Trinsic. We planned to make a trip to a secret and unexplored place in Britannia:
The Pirate Caves of Buccaneer's Den. Alistair Rudrak and Folco, who had a
rune to this place, joined our party. I never found out how this rune got into Folco's possession. We all cast the
Reactive Armor spell onto us, to have some protection from possible enemies. None of us knew what would expect us down
there. Then we recalled, one by one.
We found ourselves in an underground cave. The humid air smelled musty and foul. We grabbed our weapons and tracked the place,
but no living creature seemed to be around.

Old storytellers tell tales about pirates who once used the Caves beneath Buccaneer's Den as a hiding place for their treasure and booty. Maybe we would find something? We walked through the narrow tunnels, when suddenly we discovered a wooden stairway. Where would it lead us to?

We climbed the stairs and suddenly stepped out just in fromt of a building called The Buccaneer's Den Bath. Inside the bath, big tubs filled with water were waiting for us. A bath would have been welcome, for our clothing was dusty, but unfortunately we were not able to enter the tubs. We returned to the caves to explore the other half of it.

Further down in the tunnel, we found two stone pavers on the ground. Another secret exit? We decided to try it out and stepped onto the grey pavers.

Suddenly our party stood in the middle of a forest in Buccaneer's Den. Well, the caves had been quite unique and interesting, but there obviously was no secret to discover. We still hadn't figured out how someone had been able to descend to these caves in the first place, to mark a rune there. We hadn't found an official entrance.

As we all were up for more adventures, we agreed in trying out another strange rune to an unknown location. After casting our traveling spells again, we arrived in a very odd place. We seemed to stand inside a cellar flagged with marble floor tiles. Nine tamed sheep and some empty chests were trapped in here. How did they get there? A riddle we were not able to solve.

A white stairway lead up into an overground building. The building had neither door nor any furnishing. It was completely empty. Being bewildered about this unusual discovery, we returned to our home town Trinsic with many unanswered questions in our minds.
