My Second Pilgrim Tour

I opened my eyes and blinked, as the first sunbeams penetrated the window of my tavern chamber. I quickly jumped out of the bed as the morning sun rose above the shingle roofs of Occlo. I had recalled to this town yesterday in order to renew my supply of reagents. Yes, my magery skill had improved a bit during my past adventures. Recalling seemed to work rather reliably now.
It just seemed to be the right day to store away my armor and axe and get ready for my second pilgrim tour. I picked up one of the runes in my collection - the rune to the Ice Island - and spoke the words of power "Kal Ort Por".

I found myself in a large snowy waste. The landsape was harsh and deserted. Snowflakes tumbled down from the grey sky. The chilly wind made me shiver. I heard the distant roaring of polar bears as I stumbled through the snow towards a passage in the mountains. In a small vallye I found the Shrine of Honesty. The stone walls surrounding the shrine offered me protection from the icy wind. I didn't stay for long on this bizarre and desolate island. My rune took me back to Trinsic after a short period of meditation.

I left the west gate of Trinsic to go and find the Shrine of Spirituality. The area near the Trinsic west gate was often scene of fights. People of ill repute usually met here to kill each other and any innocent traveler leaving the town. I approached them and tried to settle their dispute, but they chased me away, shouting insults after me. When I reached the shrine, I spoke the Mantra and thought about the so-called "Lords" and "Honorables", who dealt so ill with honest townsfolk. I hope that one day friendship and honesty will defeat treason and selfishness.

After finding the next moongate, I traveled to the magnificent island of Moonglow, home of the thinkers and mages of Britannia. I visited the famous Telescope and admired this result of extraodrinary craftsmanship.

My pilgrimage should end at the Moonglow Lycaeum, where knowledge and wisdom was stored in thousands of ancient books. I explored the large libraries and studied many books to achieve knowledge about the world of Britannia. Moonglow was a sophisticated town, a very unique place amongst all cities in Britannia.

Thousands of dusty old books containing the knowledge about the secrets of Sosoria were just waiting to be explored. I retreated to the quiet libraries, far away from all the hectic and noise. Here I found what I had been looking for; the truth and the path I had to tread on my further steps through this world...
