Halloween on Siege Perilous

 he night was dark as
Pete walked through the blue moongate to the island of Skara Brae. The
area was mysteriously silent, and the rabbits hid in their holes. Only a
few wolves and rats lurked through the lonesome streets of the small town.
As Pete walked around the corner of the Counselor Hall, he froze to the ground. A black tree with branches on fire lighted up a graveyard-like are. The air seemed to hang heavy in the sky, to not disturb the flickering fire. |
| In front of the Counselor Hall a big pentagram was carved into the foot walk, and on top of it was a sparkling blue veil. Carefully Pete passed the pentagram, trying not to step on it. He opened the entrance of the hall, and slipped in. What had happened to this place? With his eyes wide open he glared at spiders webs, cauldrons, pentagrams and strange carvings in the walls. |  |
