Now, What's the Deal?

For cleaning up Britannia, the Gods had given everyone the chance to get rid of their hoarded stuff and receive cool monster and animal statuettes in return. Therefore, every house owner could place a ticket barrel into his house to dump things into it and collect points. A 100,000 would get you a random statuette.
The Corsair Hawkeye Pike looked through the loot from his previous sea battles. He had plundered many boats and sent them to the bottom of the ocean. Now all these unused riches should yield many great prizes! Excitedly he grabbed a chest full of armor and dumped it into the ticket barrel. 2341 points! Well, this was going to take some time.

After Hawkeye had dropped all his belongings into the ticket barrel he had reached 99,312 points. "Blimey!" he thought. "Still not enuff! I need 100,000 tickets fer da prize!" He hesitated a bit, then he put his armor and shield into the barrel. He even sacrificed his shirt and pants. He finally had made it! "Har, 100,041 tickets! I wonder if I will get one o' dose cool dragon statues!" With a trembling hand he reached into the barrel and pulled out - a monkey statuette!!! "BLASTED!" he shouted angrily. "Is dat wut I threw away tons of loot, weapons, armors and riches for? Cursed be da Gods!" He had not even a bottle of ale left.

He felt a bit lost, standing naked in his house together with his monkey statuette. At least he still had his tricorn...

A few weeks later, a change was introduced that limited items in the house. Before this change, any number of items could be stored inside a house without being lost. Now, only items that were locked down would not decay. This change decreased the item count in Britannia and improved performance quite a bit.
