The Blackrock Disease

awkeye Pike was on his way back to his pirate cottage, when suddenly in the middle of the forest he was attacked by an infected cow. Had mad cow disease now spread to Britannia? The cow moved with Paragon speed, but it was quickly slain. Hawkeye Pike was slightly irritated. Cows never had attacked him before. What was going on? He searched the cow's corpse, but only found a few gold pieces. That also was unusual. Normal cows didn't carry around any gold.

The pirate continued his trip home, when suddenly a rabbit jumped out from under the bushes and seemed to take him for an easy prey. The animal was infected by Blackrock, so it seemed. At least it was crazy enough to attack an armed pirate. Hawkeye Pike pondered. Maybe it had to do with the piece of Blackrock he was carrying around in his backpack? Since he had it, creatures around him seemed to get infected. He would talk with his brother Andrej about it, who was a skilled miner and maybe would have some advise.
