6-fold Arcane Power

ue to a lucky coincidence McBykar met another Arcanist who agreed to join powers. Up to six high-skilled spellweavers have the possibility to stand on a pentagram or an arcane circle and then cast the "Arcane Circle" spell. If you do so, the arcane forces will be combined, giving each spellweaver increased powers for several hours. The more spellweavers join, the higher the spellweaving bonus for each one of them will be.
While an Arcane Circle can be cast on any pentagram with up to five people, a 6-fold Arcane Circle can only be cast in one location: A pentagram deep down in the Prism of Light dungeon.

Today, McBykar for the first time had the chance to join such a group. They met by the entrance of the Prism of Light on Nujel'm island, where they had to pay 10,000 gold pieces entrance fee to the ticket seller.

They proceeded without danger to the very end of the first level, where a hole in the ground lead deeper down.

They entered a room with a strange crystal field. This is where the trip would start to become very dangerous. After stepping on the center of the field you were teleported further down and had to ride as fast as you could through the next levels and try to survive damaging energy fields and most dangerous creatures. McBykar quickly cast Gift of Life and Gift of Renewal, then they entered. While following his guide he realized that without a mount there was no way to reach the destination alive.

They finally reached a safe place, the last cave of the dungeon. The other Arcanists were already there. They quickly gathered on the pentagram and cast an Arcan Circle spell.

The spellweavers thanked each other before using their entrance ticket to be teleported out of the dungeon.

McBykar decided to visit the Minotaur City and test his abilities on the dangerous Miasma creature. Wildfire and Word of Death were most powerful and finished off many of these scorpion-like creatures. And, of course, the obligatory Energy Vortices. McBykar stayed here quite some time, until he had gathered an artifact, several treasure chests and more gold than he could carry.

When he stored his loot into the Luna bank, he discovered that he had become a Glorious Lord. His karma had risen significantly during the past hours. Spellweaving proved to be an interesting skill, especially if you know other of the Arcanist kind.
