New Dragons on Valentine's Day

Today was Valentine's Day. Again, McBykar visited the dungeon Destard in order to slay some Dragons and gather barbed leather for Andrej Pike, who would provide him with high quality leather armor quid pro quo. But when he reached the entrance to Destard, he noticed an unusual hubbub. There seemed to be more people than usual, and most notably, more dead people. What was going on? The mage decided to take a look by himself.

McBykar was not afraid of Destard Dragons. He was acquainted with them quite well and knew how to handle them. However, when his eyes got used to the darkness in Destard, he noticed even more corpses. People seemed to be dying like flies around here! Either a group of unexperienced adventurers was testing their fighting skills on the fire-breathing creatures, or something strange was going on.

McBykar quickly found the reason for all the casualties, when two Dragons approached. They simply walked over most skilled fighters, killing them with one hit of their paw and one breath of fire. McBykar the mage decided to keep some distance and help resurrecting the fallen. But once the Dragons spotted an enemy, they teleported right on top of them, which in most cases resulted in certain death for the victim.

Especially tamers were eager to get close to those vile beasts. They were to be found among the victims most frequently. It had become quite dangerous to enter Destard, as flying hunters pulled them to the entrance where the Dragons waited for their next victim. Adventurers, listen carefully! Valentine's Day 2008 will go down in history as the day the Dragons regained their ancient powers! While before that day Dragons were not more dangerous than a horde of Ogres, they now had become a real challenge again. Beware, when you decide to set foot inside the famous Destard Dungeon!
