Fire in Everthorne

nce again, the United Pirates traveled to the woods near Yew to visit the Everthorne Gardens. Less to have a few good drinks there (the Everthorne people only serve water and milk), than to take a look at the pretty Everthorne wenches.
But, again, things got out of hand. The Everthorne guards despise the pirates and especially their vampire friends, and again they quickly drew their weapons to chase the unsavory folk out of their peaceful kingdom. However, this time they did not succeed and the pirates were finally victorious.

The pirates decided to knock on the gate of the marble building next door to speak with the queen and demand a truce. And, of course, a stay permit for the vampires with no questions asked. The negotiation lingered on for a while without any trace of a clear result. Obviously the Everthorne people disliked vampires so much that they didn't even consider to give in even after being defeated. Sharkeye Pike started to get angry.

Suddenly the queen and her maid vanished inside the building and locked the door behind them. The scoundrels of the sea stood there for a while, unsure what should be done next. Then they lit their torches and set the building on fire. Bright flames were smouldering in the front yard, burning down the beautifully tended lawn. Then the pirates took off, leaving the building as a food for the flames.
