White Wyrms and Frostbite

hilling cold air emerged from the black hole by the mountainside north of Wrong Dungeon. The four pirates equipped their fire damage weapons and entered the Ice Dungeon. Not far from the entrance, after killing a few Frost Spiders, they came across the corpse of an unfortunate adventurer who was obviously killed by an Ice Ogre Lord. After waiting a while, the small group proceeded and slew a lot of Giant Ice Snakes and Ice Elementals.

After looking around for a bit, they found a dungeon exit by a slope, which lead them directly to the Kos Heb West in the Lost Lands. A deserted freezing cold and yet beautiful place. After wandering around for a while, they re-entered the Ice Dungeon.

Soon they found some kind of giant nest made of twigs and branches. Human bones were scattered around the place, and it was very clear who was calling this place its home: The roar of a White Wyrm echoed from the dungeon walls. The pirates grabbed the hilts of their weapons firmly. A while later, Hawkeye was carving white dragon scales from the giant corpse. Maybe his brother Andrej could use them for crafting.

Further down the dungeon, the corridor lead to a dark stone portal, which was guarded by a group of Ice Fiends. These Daemon-like creatures were quickly slain by the skilled warriors, and they stepped through the gate. They entered a strange cellar with red floor tiles and black walls. A place, that had been haunted by more evil things like Ice Fiends in the past, so it seemed. A large library could be found at the western part of the cellar.

Another passage lead from the Ice Dungeon down into a large cave, where a fort was built from wooden palisades. Dozends of ratmen caught sight of the intruders and attacked. The pirates jumped up the palisades and entered the fort, putting an end to the ratmen agression. The dungeon was explored and conquered, and the pirates decided to return to the surface. The party disbanded, and Hawkeye accompanied Kira to the Jolly Roger Inn to rid her of her landlubber armor and provide her with proper pirate equipment.
