Chrismas Encounters

t was Christmas! It was peaceful and rather quiet on Catskills. A thin layer of snow had covered most of the landscape. Houses had been decorated with Christmas trees, garlands, snowmen and bells. It was during the holidays when a red dressed man with a long white beard appeared in New Haven, distributing gift bags to the locals. Five loaded pack horses carried his presents, and now even the most down-to-earth warrior couldn't deny feeling the spirit of Christmas.

Even the pirates had gathered by the Jolly Roger Inn under the Christmas tree, drinking hot ale and recounting their previous adventures. Only the pirate snowman was struggling against the warm climate of southern Britannia.

A green robed fellow called Kasaven inhabited the Counselor's Hall in Britain, greeting the visitors and saying strange things about a warp gate in Destard. More riddles...

In the middle of the conversation with Kasaven, a black Drake suddenly appeared outside, killing Hawkeye Pike's horse with a single strike of his sharp claws. The pirate immediately ran outside, engaging this strange creature. After it was slain, he wondered if this could have something to do with a certain warp gate?

Right after the New Year, the Black Market event occured again. Lots of good deals were going down, merchants and customers bargained about prices, wares and contraband were exchanged. Word had finally spread that very interesting items could be acquired for a fair price during this monthly recurring event.
