Rikktor

el Wyn and Sharkeye Pike, two passionate spellcasters, met in the Destard dungeon to hunt some Dragon. Kel Wyn tested a dragon slayer spellbook, and Sharkeye was happy to loot the barbed hides for his brother Andrej, the tailor. After having slain several Greater Dragons, Grol Darkeye joined them and they decided to hunt the Shadow Wyrm. They went to the western part of Destard and descended. The Shadow Wyrm wasn't really a match for them either. Sharkeye scraped the black scales from the dragon's corpses and put them into his backpack. Armor made from scales wasn't really too good these days, but who knew what scales might be good for in the future...

The group proceeded to another hole in the ground and entered the cave of the Ancient Wyrm. they carefully approached, their spells and weapons ready. Then all of a sudden, spells thundered and arrows whirred, and a minute later the Ancient Wyrm collapsed and died. This was easier than they had expected! What else was there to do? Grol said that the next reptile challenge would probably be Rikktor. So Rikktor it is!

After storing away their loot the group met by the Destard dungeon, only this time in Felucca. They entered and hurried to the northern cave of Destard, where they were expected by hordes of Lizardmen. Sharkeye selcted his lizarman slayer book and they quickly eliminated the monsters. When the 6th red candle was lit on the altar, large numbers of Ophidians appeared. Sharkeye switched to the ophidian slayer book. With the 10th red candle, more dangerous types of Ophidians spawned, accompanied by Drakes. The next step was Dragons together with the most dangerous type of Ophidians. As Sharkeye Pike was most effective with slaying Ophidians he concentrated on those, while his companions mostly killed the Dragons. It was perfect team work!

Finally, after the 16th red candle, Rikktor the Lord of Destard awoke by the altar. The tension could almost be seen. The party attacked Rikktor, and a long battle began. The evil Dragon sometimes would cast an earthquake-like spell which would take about 50% of the life energy of the fighters in the area. Apart from that, all the fighters had to do was to keep a safety distance to Rikktor. The Dragon was vulnerable to dragon slayers, and his cold resistance was the lowest.

When finally Rikktor was defeated, thousands of gold pieces dropped to the ground and each one of the group was rewarded with two powerscrolls. The quickly gathered as much gold as they could carry and Sharkeye carved a large number of different colored scales from the corpse. Then they left.
