Ophidians and Bane Chosen

omewhere in the desert of the Lost Lands, Sharkeye Pike came across a strange camp he had never seen before. Funny people dressed in dragon scale armor, who called themselves the "Bane Chosen", tried to hire mercenaries for their war against the Ophidians. Sharkeye had no idea what this war was all about, but he decided to patrol the war zone for a while. Maybe there was some easy money to earn!

Since he had his Ophidian Slayer spellbook in his backpack, Sharkeye begann to slay an occasional Ophidian, and soon he noticed that the Ophidians became agressive towards him, while the Bane Chosen left him alone. As soon as an army of Ophidians was slain, a new and stronger army appeared and attacked the intruders.

As the war grew stronger, the frontier moved and Sharkeye Pike occasionally found Chrystalline Blackrock in the corpses of the slain Ophidians. If he remembered correctly, this stuff was in great demand among the Artificers, because it allowed them to apply a high skill bonus to jewelry. After two hours of fighting, the Ophidians had retreated to their headquarters and were defeated. Sharkeye had gathered around 30 pieces of Crystalline Blackrock and he got tired of this pointless war. He left the war zone to pick up his reward, which was a satchel containing a useless sword. Time to sail to other shores!
