Anyway, 'tis a dull story
ometimes sailing the seas of Britannia can be somewhat lone lonely and boring, especially when your crew is not available and you sail out all by yourself with a fishing pole. The only refreshing thing about such adventures are the tales of the tillerman. He's the one person on every vessel who indefatigably tries to entertain the lonesome captain with his dull stories. Actually, it is quite entertaining indeed listening to this chap starting a strange and bizarre story and breaking it off again with his typical comment: "Anyway, 'tis a dull story."
