On the Isle of Fire

While the dungeon Hythloth was already known to McBykar, the island on which it is located was still unexplored. Today, Wilhelm Tell was so kind to take him along with his boat. They planned to visit the Isle of Fire and the Shrine of Valor. They knew almost nothing about this big island, so they were anxious to discover its hidden secrets. After the two travelers crossed the stormy sea, they dropped anchor by the northern coast of the Isle of Fire. After landfall they saw a strange ruin lying in the jungle, which looked like the home of a giant spider. But the place was totally deserted.

McBykar and William headed south through the dense jungle, climbing across fallen trees and fighting their way through thorny bushes. In the middle of the island the two discovered a strange yard, surrounded by high brick walls. Carefully they entered and found several lava pits inside. It looked like a demon had shattered holes into the ground. They noticed no sign of any living creature, so they were able to continue investigating the area without being disturbed.

In the center of the yard a broad and high stairway was leading upward to a podest. On the podest the two friends found the Daemon Altar where the remains of sacrificed human victims were still lying around. they shuddered and retreated from this creepy place. As they were about to leave the eerie yard, a huge Dragon suddenly appeared from the thicked and attacked them. Both decided not to be roasted by its breath and ran. They got off cheaply, as the firy breath of the creature only took half of their life energy.

William and McBykar returned to the boat, raised anchor and sailed southwest to find the Valor Isle. Soon they determined the small island on the horizon, and a while later they were already wandering through the peaceful jungle of this secluded place. McBykar noticed lots of tropical birds flying around. He knew that he'd come back one day to hunt some birds and gather their feathers. That was were they parted. Wilhelm Tell proved to be a good companion, always cheering hsi friends up by giving them an apple or two.
