Poison in Covetous

cBykar explored Covetous for the first time. He already had heard about the dangers of this dungeon, but meanwhile he was an Adept Archer and felt like he had to try his skill on some dangerous monsters. Together with his friends Kurt, Lorin and Corpus Clair, he descended down to the prison cells in the lowest level of the dungeon. He was lucky not to have come all by himself, because his friends saved his life more than once. Especially the Giant Serpents with their poisonous bite proved to be dangerous beasts.

Then it happened! McBykar got stuck in a cell, surrounded by monsters, not being able to teleport or run out. He quickly died by snakes, rats and slimes. Fortunately Lady Corpus Clair gated him to Vesper where he could get resurrected, because as usual none of the party were able to cast the resurrection spell.

Apart from this incident, the expedition was a lot of fun, and McBykar was once again able to improve his archery and magery skill. He also picked up a lot of reagents lying on the ground, which he needed for his spells. When finally his bolts were wasted, they had to leave. McBykar never would have guessed that he would use up 200 arrows in an hour.
