Cove Orc Fort

cMykar was just hanging around in Vesper, when he remembered a story about an Orc Fort located near the little town Cove. Spontaneously he decided to explore this fort to find out if it was any similar to the Orc Fort in the Yew Forest. By walking straight west from Vesper, he soon reached the small but well fortified Cove. High palisades were protecting the small village from attackers. A narrow path south of Cove just between the mountains and the sea lead to a fort that seemed to be empty. McBykar proceeded carefully though the dirty and littered place, seeing piles of bones, rubbish and waste in every corner. Only two Orcs had molested him so far, and he had quickly put an end to that.

Suddenly, in one of the southern rooms three Orcs appeared and attacked McBykar, growling in anger. Some well-aimed shots and a Fireball put an end to their desperate attempt to slay the human. He then marked a rune in the middle of the fort, because it seemed to be a good hunting ground and he would likely return. Then he pulled out a chair from his backpack and sat down by the fireplace, talking to a friend he just had met here.

In the middle of our conversation, two murderers jumped onto the two adventurers and killed them wordlessly. McBykar just had kicked the bucket again without knowing why. Was it just thirst for blood? Because McBykar didn't carry much loot on him. He never would understand these people. He followed them as a ghost for some time and watched them killing about six people, without even gaining any riches. I decided to leave this this place and never come back.
