Entering Wind

The time has finally come! I had improved my magic skills very much in the past weeks. Very intense training of magery, studies in the libraries of Moonglow and meditation training had increased my skills slowly. I was now experienced with all spells up to the sixth circle. My mind and my thoughts were clear and well-sorted. So one day I wandered to the entrance of the city of mages called Wind. Kurt accompanied me to show me around.
The teleporter glowed red as I stepped on it. I felt energy flowing through my body and suddenly I found myself in an underground cave. Kurt showed me the caves where several tough monsters were at home, like the Drakes, Lichs or Demons.
Finally we reached a beautiful city beneath tons of rocks, plastered all over with shining white marble. On our way through this town we saw ancient libraries and several other buildings. Strange mages, silent librarians and learning scholars passed us without taking notice of us. This place really was mystic!
Another teleporter led us to a green underground park. Here we found almost all kinds of animals that existed in Britannia. The peace was a little disturbed by some mages, who killed everything that moved.
Even some orcs and ettins appeared from time to time. This area was so beautiful, but alas a little too crowded with people. I never had seen something like that before!
I was so fascinated of this underground plants and nature, that I planned to search for the underground swamp I have heard of. This swamp was said to be somewhere in Desipise.
I had to fight my way deep down through caves and wells filled with giant snakes, scorpions, slimes and rats. I proceeded slowly, but after some hours of wandering and fighting I finally reached the swamp. Dark green bubbles were exploding on the surface of the muddy water. A foul stench hang in the air and made breathing a torture. An evil mage attacked me, right after I had chased the giant scorpion. I didn't stay long, but I kept everything in my memory.
After all these journeys it was time to rest a little. So I visited the newly opened Tavern of the Eight Virtues. Rumarak the innkeeper welcomed me and offered me a bottle of fine Britannian ale. I met some fighters there, who's names had come across my ears many times before, and we talked a little.
I felt comfortable and tired, so I soon retreated and recalled back to my hometown Trinsic, where a nice warm bed in the Rusty Anchor was waiting for me.
