Desecration of the Shrines
ow that Trinsic had been freed from the Undead, and the
structures of the dark temples have vanished from the cities, the townsfolk did
heave a sigh of relief. The danger was over.
One day when McBykar travelled to the shrine of Sacrifice though, he noticed a
strange change. Magic treasure was littered on the ground, but he was not able
to pick something up. Dark sinister structures had been built around the shrine,
and a death vortex was at the place where once the ankh stood. The shrine had
lost its ankh and its power to resurrect. McBykar was filled with fear and
astonishment, and decided to check out the other shrines of Britannia. All
shrines except the Shrine of Compassion, Valor, Humility and Chaos were
destroyed and occupied by evil death vortices...
