Just Another Day In Felucca
t
had been a while since Hawkeye Pike had been wandering through the woods of
Britannia. Today he thought was the perfect day for Covetous, as he strolled
through the Felucca woods west of Vesper. He passed by a public building designated as a
bakery, as he felt some urging hunger. He was just about to check out the
vendors, when a murderer jumped out of the building on his horse, and attacked
him with magic spells. At the same time two of his companions, a thief and a
spear fighter decided to make Hawkeye Pike's life miserable by joining this
scum. The corsair Hawkeye felt uncomfortable. After all he was a man of the seas, and
not one of those landlubbers who just tried to put his life to a quick end. He
should have never left the planks of his ship!
After the thief had stolen various useless
items from Hawkeye's backpack, he dropped to the ground, deadly poisoned
by Hawkeye's warfork. The mage tried all his tricks from poison spell to
paralyze to finish the corsair off, and finally he retreated to his house
deadly wounded, and barely managed to ban Hawkeye from this so-called
bakery before he could receive the final and deadly blow. |

Hawkeye quickly
grabbed a bag full of reagents from the thief's corpse before he returned
to the safe city of Vesper. But there still was this fencer guy, who even
followed Hawkeye to Vesper to disturb him in his bank business. His
tactics was mostly to run away from the corsair. How was one supposed to
fight against such a nervous enemy? |
Finally Hawkeye put the sad performance to an end, killed
the annoying criminal and looted reagents, bandages and armor from
his corpse. Hawkeye Pike was just thinking about what to do with all these
reagents as his victim returned from the healer.
The criminal gave a funny picture, calling the corsair a loser while
standing beside his own corpse. Since the world had been split into Trammel
and Felucca, it seemed like the Feluccan scum had become even more annoying.
He shrugged, turned around and staggered to the next tavern to get drunk. |
