Finding Friends

After spending some more time in Vesper, Hawkeye Pike finally met a traveller in the otherwise empty streets. Before he could recall out, Hawkeye stopped him and asked him where all the people had gone. "Go to the bank of Luna!" he replied. "That's where everybody is hanging out today." Hawkeye wanted to ask him how to get there, but before he could utter his question he heard the words of power "Kal Ort Por" and the landlubber had vanished.
The pirate anticipated that he would have a lot of walking to do. So he decided to choose an Ethereal Ostard as a veteran reward. This mount would come in handy more often than Hawkeye Pike would have imagined.

Hawkeye roughly remembered the direction of the Vesper moongate. When he arrived there, he found that when stepping into the moongate he was asked which direction he wanted to take. This was new! He could comfortably choose the city, facet and even the landmass. After selecting "Malas, Luna" he was teleported immediately to a location close to the Luna bank. Luna was crowded indeed, even during off-peak hours. Not as crowded as Britain during it's glorious days, though. This is where Hawkeye Pike met Troy, who helped him out with a lot of information and invited him to his home.

To make a long story short: Troy offered Hawkeye to become a member of his guild and help him out a little. Gladly Hawkeye accepted, happy about having found some friends so quickly. He learned quickly that the prices had skyrocketed, everything had become extremely expensive. Well, Troy helped Hawkeye more than "a little". He borrowed a good amount of money to the pirate, which allowed him to finally afford a small cottage of his own. A place to live, where he could exchange gold and items with his brother Andrej without having to hide backpacks underneath trees in the forest and using a bedroll and a campfire.
Troy's home was a white 3-storey marble building stuffed under the roof with all kinds of items Hawkeye had never seen before. Obviously, Troy liked Chritsmas a lot. Not a pirate-style place, but the home of a wealthy person indeed.
