Return of the Shadowlords

ear the Bank of Moonglow, a person named Inu can be found wandering around, blathering strange things. This insane crone is spouting gibberish and warnings as she roams, and nobody knows the meaning of this. Most people assume that her appearance has something to do with the blackrock detector and the time rift in Moonglow. But those are only rumors; one cannot be certain...

A short while ago, a blockade of cannons had been erected around the crater in southern Moonglow. A state of emergency had been declared in the township of Moonglow, currently under attack by forces unknown. A medical station was also constructed near the time rift. All contact with entities within the rift should be met with extreme prejudice. The military positioned around the crater is not stopping ordinary (albeit well-armed) citizens from entering the rift!

The death of Kronos, leader of the blackrock detector project, had been officially announced. Dexter, his field apprentice, disappeared shortly after returning to Moonglow from the rift with master mage Sutek, who arrived at the scene after the disaster. The fate of Melissa, friend and fellow mage of the local council, is currently unknown.

Inside the time rift, fighters were still endlessly battling against Fallen Warriors, Daemon Berserkers, Dark Wisps, the annoying Fetid Essences and other creatures.

The former blackrock detector is now in pieces, and its parts are moving around. A very strange sighting! Also, the ethereal forms of the dangerous Shadowlords have returned and appeared on a regular basis inside the rift. McBykar managed to cast the Armageddon spell close to a Shadowlord, by having a piece of blackrock in his backpack and speaking the words of power "Vas Kal An Mani In Corp Hur Tym". The following big explosion damaged the Shadowlord severely.

However, even as the Shadowlord's health seemed to be down, a lot of attacks were still required to bring him down. The fight continued for about 10 minutes before the dark figure finaly vanished in a black cloud, leaving behind a corpse full of magic items. McBykar found a strange black cloak in his backpack, which was called the Cloak of Corruption. As he couldn't estimate its value yet, he carefully placed it inside his bank box.
