Avast, ye scurvy scum!

Bandages were cut, explosions were mixed, blades were sharpened. The United Pirates prepared for another raid with great prospect of loot and plunder. Their old foes, the Purple Guardians of Honor, had invited all citizens to participate in their anniversary celebration. During this festivity, several events were held and valuable rewards could be won. Lots of rich landlubbers were to be expected. Easy prey for the pirates!

The archery contest at the Trinsic Archery Range was where they would strike first. Disguised as harmless contestants, they mingled with the crowd. However, the pirate Pete Ninefinger, who was not the most skilled of the archers, unexpectedly won the contest and received the prize out of dumb luck. Still, his comrades were eager to enrich themselves. All of a sudden, an arrow must have accidentally slipped from a pirate's bow and hit a landlubber standing in the way. Swords were unsheathed, arrows and bolds whirred about, spells were cast. The battle had begun! The guards outnumbered the pirates and forced them to flee after lots of blood had been spilled. Quickly the pirates entered their ship that had anchored close by and sailed back home, not without shouting an evil threat back at their enemies.

A few days later, a big fishing event took place. The United Pirates had readied their ship by the Barrier Isle. The crew hid, and silently they sailed towards the spot where the nets were to be tossed. They arrived by the scene like an empty ghost ship. A few landlubbers suspected something, but before they had made up their mind about what to do, Sharkeye Pike stepped forward and shouted: "Stand and deliver, or the devil he will take ye!" The landlubbers acted confused, so the pirate gave the signal to fire the broadside. Soon, the two enemy ships were ablaze, and smoke was rising high into the sky.

The losses were big on both sides, but the enemy soon was defeated. The pirates entered their ships, stole their gold and took a hostage. Then they set sails and quickly headed back to the Red Skull Bay to lock up the hostage in their prison.

The silence in the Red Skull Bay was treacherous. It didn't take long before a group of six warriors approached, trying to free the hostage by force. But the pirate had locked up their doors and retreated to the safe cellar of the Jolly Roger Inn. From this safe place they negotiated the ransom. However, their enemies were clever. One of them had sneaked into the building, eavesdropping on the pirates. Although he was soon revealed with a Conflagration Potion, the pirates made the mistake to leave their save cellar and attack the landlubbers. The outcome was quite unflattering, especially to the Captain of the United Pirates. The pirates were defeated, prisoners were exchanged, and Hawkeye Pike was locked into a barrel and tossed down the stairs of the Jolly Roger Inn. This humiliation would not go unpunished!
