Stranded on the Isle of Fire
omewhere in the southern parts of Britannia, a bunch of seafarers counted their belongings. A few clothes, a couple of old weapons of town vendor quality, bandages, torches and lanterns. That was all that could be saved from their sinking ship, before they were washed ashore on the Isle of Fire. It was time to look for better equipment. The nearby entrance to the Underworld was their only chance on this secluded beach.
They quickly passed the Acid Slugs and reached the cave inhabited by Bloodworms. These creatures were quite ugly and dangerous, but the adventurers healed each other and sticked together. The looted items were shared among the group, and useful armor and weapons were equipped right away. Sometimes, the loot caused some frustration, as those ugly gargoyle items could not be worn by any of the fighters. They all were human after all.
After accepting two quests, they continued through the strange corridors and chambers, coming across a large group of undead obstructing their passage. The skeletal mages sometimes carried useful items, so they stayed a while until the whole floor was covered by undead bodies. The torches came in handy, as they were their only source of light.
After passing by the deathtrap hallway, the entered the home of the green goblins, killed many of them, picked up Barrels of Barley and stole Flint's Logbook (both were required to solve the quests). As it was time to leave for some of the adventurers, they returned to the quest givers and received their rewards. It was time to say good-bye and dissolve, until the next adventure.
