High Seas Fishing

ensely the fisherman stared at the buoys silently floating on the water. Eight lobster traps he had lowered into the water of the Red Skull Bay. Crab and lobster fishing was an activity that very much put his patience to the test.
There! One buoy bobbed. Quickly the fisherman pulled in the trap and dropped the fresh lobster into his bag. With a soft curse he watched three other traps being pulled under the water, gone forever. He was asking himself how many lost traps were already buried on the bottom of the bay, while he took replacement traps from his stack. Within the last hour he had lost at least 30 traps. He soon would have to sail to the Sea Market again to buy more.

It had taken a while until Bob had figured out the most efficient way to fish for crabs and lobsters. But now it worked perfectly. He had placed over 20 traps all around his boat and was constantly busy pulling them back up and emptying them. One more time he dropped the traps into the water before he headed northwest across the Western Divide.

Darkness surrounded Bob as he swung his fishing pole towards the blackish bubbling surface. His head moved left and right while he watched the line of his pole vanish into the dark dungeon waters. Hopefully he wouldn't be disturbed by more than a slime or a snake. Then the line began to straighten, and Bob pulled out a dungeon fish and put it on a pile. As uneasy as he felt fishing here in the darkness, as much he did enjoy this new challenge. Wondering what else he would pull out of these waters, he swung his pole again and hauled the hook into the darkness.
